But the main change is that we now have a commercial software business.”
At the heart of Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture is a revolutionary “transformer engine” designed expressly to enable transformer-based AI, which is the foundation of models such as ChatGPT. This innovative innovation enables Blackwell-based computers to deliver an astounding 20 petaflops of AI performance, outperforming predecessors such as the Hopper H100.
